Greater Boston Stage Company

Calling all students in grades 7–12. We’re doing it again! Join our ranks as the Young Company embarks on another epic (and speedy) journey to stage a musical in just 24 hours! For this event, students and staff will work as a collaborative, creative team to stage, costume, and tech an entire production that will be performed for the public. The countdown will begin at 4:00pm on Friday, September 11th ending with a performance on September 12th! 

Xanadu JR. follows the journey of a magical and beautiful Greek muse, Kira, who descends from the heavens of Mt. Olympus to Venice Beach, California, on a quest to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time – the first Roller Disco. (Hey, it's 1980!) But when Kira falls into forbidden love with the mortal Sonny, her jealous sisters take advantage of the situation, and chaos abounds.

Auditions will be held on August 31st (time TBD). Every student registered is guaranteed a role in the production.
